the jam is jazzy – like any given sunday, this one, last one and the one before long. i’m a dancer she said – please give me a stage. bass beckoned deep whisper – and she took it in a rage, and then danced her way away like singing a song..

Hanca is also an actress – she delivers a welcomed theatrical flair to the shoot and has absolutely no fear of a Pentax 645 lens. She brings a little more than dance to the stage and has also helped to inspire my own desire to explore, not only the beauty of dance but also the storytelling behind it. I also get the feeling that she is appreciative of my own playfulness with post processing; to show what I want to. Not being too preoccupied with perfection at first she seems to recognize that to the contrary, it’s all about progress, in other words she just does it, and the shoot flows.
